Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of foods, pastries, cakes, and baked goods according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food production complies with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist in the development of new pastry recipes and menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout the shift
- Monitor ingredient levels and communicate stock requirements to management
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of products during busy morning hours
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or baking within a professional kitchen environment
- Knowledge of culinary techniques, baking and pastry advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hygiene
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work early mornings consistently and efficiently under pressure
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Passion for culinary arts and continuous learning in pastry techniques
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
