Metro Rod is a leading provider of drain clearance and maintenance services delivered on a largely reactive basis. The services are provided by over 40 franchisees with geographical coverage across most of the UK, Scotland, and Norther Ireland.
This is a full-time vacancy and will involve you in providing a range of emergency and contracted services to both commercial and domestic customers. The successful candidate will be provided with a company van and fuel card.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of our customers’ drains
- Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards
- Carrying out surveys
- Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
- Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and apps
- Communicate effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is always provided
- Being part of an on-call rota to help service our clients 24/7 / 365 days a year. This would be one week in four– variable according to the business needs
- Opportunity to earn up to £50,000.
Experience
- Excellent problem-solving ability with sound technical knowledge

- Full UK driving licence
- Must live in the Cambridge, Ely, Kings Lynn, Bury St Edmunds area
Pay: £28,500.00-£33,500.00 per year
