Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas within our establishment. This position is essential in ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, reflecting our commitment to high standards of service in the hotel industry.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including bathrooms, ensuring all areas are spotless and well-presented.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and tea in guest rooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- Assist with the cleaning of public areas as needed, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitising to meet health and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests or concerns courteously.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
