Company Information
Salinity Solutions was launched in 2021 as a spin-out from the University of
Birmingham, after eight years of research and development in the laboratories there
and at Aston University. We are a young company, developing an advanced reverse
osmosis (RO) process technology that offers higher recovery (water removal), using
less energy and reducing costs by 30 – 55% compared with conventional systems. We
are now in the commercialisation stage, rolling out pilot systems in multiple markets
around the world, negotiating licences with some of the largest global water
engineering companies, working in municipal, industrial and mining applications. We
are a small and motivated team (currently 13 full time people) based in Kings Norton,
Birmingham. We maintain flexible working, with the focus on getting stuff done as
efficiently as possible.
