We are seeking a dedicated Matchday Chef/Cook to join our team for upcoming events. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and health & safety regulations
- Assist in the organisation and setup of the kitchen area prior to matchday events
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen, including cleaning utensils, surfaces, and equipment
- Ensure all food is stored correctly and rotated according to safety standards
- Serve food efficiently to spectators and staff, maintaining high levels of customer service
- Follow all food safety procedures and document compliance as required
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy matchday periods
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
- Experience working in a restaurant or catering setting is highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak times
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Previous experience serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
- A genuine interest in culinary arts and delivering quality service during matchdays
