Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team on a 0-hour contract basis. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by sanitizing frequently touched surfaces and waste disposal
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes to support daily operations
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and cleaning products to ensure continuous availability
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as light cooking or setting up catering areas when required
- Support with janitorial duties in various settings including hotels, commercial offices, or hospitality environments
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Experience with hotel or hospitality cleaning standards is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Customer service skills to interact politely with staff, visitors, or guests when needed
- Basic cooking skills are advantageous for supporting catering or hospitality functions
