We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young children within a nurturing and stimulating environment. Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children in accordance with early years frameworks.
- Provide high-quality care that promotes children's safety, health, and emotional well-being.
- Support children's social skills and behaviour management through positive reinforcement and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress, needs, and any concerns.
- Lead by example in maintaining high standards of professionalism, organisation, and childcare best practices.
- Contribute to the organisation’s management team by supporting team development initiatives and ensuring compliance with policies.
Requirements
- recognised qualification in early childhood education or childcare (e.g., CACHE Level 3 or equivalent).
- Proven experience working with young children within a nursery or similar setting.
- Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst also taking initiative independently.
- Knowledge of current early years legislation, safeguarding procedures, and best practices in childcare.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving travel between settings or home visits.
- Passionate about working with children and committed to their development and well-being.

Pay: £24,420.00-£31,937.74 per year
