At Impact Academies, we believe that learning technology should be exciting, creative and fun. We're looking for enthusiastic tutors who enjoy working with children and want to inspire them through coding, game development, robotics and digital creativity.
Whether you're an experienced teacher, tutor, university student, software developer, or simply someone who loves sharing knowledge with young people, we'd love to hear from you.
It is really important to be based in Wokingham or surroundings areas, as our classes will take place offline.

What you'll do
As an IT Tutor, you'll deliver engaging lessons for children and teenagers aged 5 to 17, helping them build confidence while learning valuable digital skills.
You'll:
- Deliver fun, interactive coding and technology lessons.
- Adapt your teaching style to different age groups and learning abilities.
- Create a positive, encouraging classroom environment.
- Support students as they develop problem-solving, creativity and digital skills.
- Inspire children to enjoy learning and exploring technology.
We're looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with children and genuinely cares about their learning and development.
- Has experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring, coaching or leading activities for children or young people (this is highly valued).
- Is confident speaking to groups and can keep children engaged.
- Is patient, friendly, enthusiastic and approachable.
- Can explain technical concepts in a simple and engaging way.
- Has knowledge of one or more of the following areas:
- Coding (Scratch, Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, etc.)
- Web Development
- Game Development
- Robotics
- Mobile App Development
- Digital Design or Animation
- Is eager to learn new technologies and teaching methods.
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
You don't need to know every technology.
If you're confident in one or more areas and enjoy learning, we'll provide training and support to help you deliver our programmes successfully.
