We are looking for a passionate hard working hands on Manager at The Stables located in the amazing location Sudbury Courtyard
There is so much growth potential at our coffee shop for weddings and events so someone who is keen to be part of a journey and grow the business with rewards is what we are looking for
Experience in hospitality and management is necessary.
5 days a week including every Saturday and Sunday. Monday and one other week day off a week
We are a very busy coffee shop so lots of energy is a must but able to stay calm at the same time
You will be based at Sudbury but we also have a sister site in Staunton so you will be asked to go here occasionally to cover and also understand both sites.
Must be available to work a weekend day and be flexible to work both if covering holiday or sickness
The ideal candidate will be hard working, positive and friendly. We are a busy coffee shop so looking for keen enthusiastic individual that will thrive in this environment. We are an ever expanding team so are looking for the right individual to join our Stables family.
Main responsibilities are:
- Manage coffee shop floor in managers absense
- Manage staff breaks in managers absense
- Barista
- Stock control and ordering
- Serve customers
- Key holder
- Training new starters
- Rota management
- Flexibility
- Communication between FOH and Kitchen

- Must be able to work a weekend day
- Day time working hours between 8am-4.30 and some evenings during weekends

Job Types: Full-time
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential.
- Strong background in team management and supervising staff in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production is required.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail, capable of multitasking effectively under pressure.
