We pride ourselves on delivering person-centred, nurse-led care with excellence, compassion, and professionalism.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager / Clinical Nurse Lead to lead and develop our live-in care services. This dual-role position combines regulatory leadership with clinical oversight, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality care to clients with complex needs.The successful candidate will be responsible for CQC registration, service compliance, clinical governance, and the ongoing development of care packages, while also providing hands-on clinical leadership and guidance to care teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Management
- Act as the CQC Registered Manager, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements
- Lead, manage, and develop care teams delivering live-in care services
- Maintain high standards of care quality, safety, and service delivery
- Drive continuous improvement across the service
- Manage safeguarding, incidents, complaints, and risk effectively
Clinical Oversight
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise across all care packages
- Develop, review, and implement person-centred care plans
- Conduct clinical assessments and risk assessments
- Support and supervise care staff in delivering complex care
- Ensure adherence to best practice and clinical governance standards
Service Development
- Support onboarding of new clients with complex needs
- Contribute to growth and development of the live-in care service
- Build strong relationships with clients, families, and external professionals
- Participate in audits, inspections, and quality assurance processes
Clinical Experience Required
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience supporting individuals with complex conditions, including:
- Spinal cord injuries
- Acquired brain injuries
- Parkinson’s disease
- Diabetes management
- PEG feeding and enteral nutrition
- Neurogenic bowel management
- Bladder management (including catheter care)
Essential Requirements
- Active NMC Nursing PIN (Adult Nurse or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or readiness to step into registration
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance frameworks
- Experience in complex care / live-in care settings
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work both strategically and hands-on clinically
Desirable
- Experience within a live-in care provider or specialist home care service
- Leadership or management qualification (e.g. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care)
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams
