We are seeking a friendly and professional Waitress/Waiter to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and present menus with enthusiasm.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities in a courteous manner.
- Clear tables efficiently and assist with setting up for subsequent guests.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Follow food safety protocols at all times, including proper handling and storage of food items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Handle cash or electronic payments accurately at the end of each shift.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Outstanding guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour.
- Good organisational skills to manage orders accurately and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling bills and transactions confidently.
- Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to enhance guest experience and sales performance.
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
