Job Title
Warehouse Operative – Device Processing - Temporary position with the potential full time role after 6 months for the right candidate.
Job Brief
You will be a key member of a Hardware Logistics team, responsible for ensuring mobile devices and tablets are accurately checked in, wiped, tested, configured and kitted.
This role requires a high level of accuracy, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. You will work within our staging and distribution area, handling goods in and goods out, managing customer-owned assets, and maintaining accurate stock records using our inventory systems.
An interest in mobile technology and prior experience in stock handling or logistics would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle goods in and goods out
- Manage and track customer-owned IT assets
- Fulfil customer orders for mobile devices, including pre-staging, configuration, and kitting
- Monitor stock levels, carry out regular stock takes, and maintain minimum stock levels
- Identify and escalate priorities and support ad hoc projects as required
Experience and Skills
- Interest in or basic knowledge of mobile devices or the telecoms industry (desirable)
- Strong data entry and typing accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong awareness of and commitment to meeting SLAs
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 37.5 hours per week - 9am- 5pm
- 12 days holiday entitlement over a 6 month period
Location
- Office-based role
- Due to the location of the office, a full UK driving licence is required
- Candidates should be within a reasonable commuting distance
Job Type: Full-time
