Bridge of Allan, Stirling
£66,000
Monday–Friday, 9am–5.45pm
️ Protected, uninterrupted lunch from 1pm–2pm
Full-time, permanent
Qualified Independent Prescriber required
Bridge of Allan Pharmacy is looking for an ambitious IP Pharmacist Manager who believes community pharmacy should be about more than checking prescriptions and keeping the dispensary moving.
We want someone passionate about using their prescribing qualification—someone excited by Pharmacy First Plus, energised by the potential of private clinical services, and ready to make the pharmacy an even more valuable part of the local healthcare community.
This is not a role where your IP qualification sits unused.
You’ll have the opportunity, trust and backing to use it properly.
You’ll lead an experienced, supportive team while shaping the pharmacy’s next stage of growth.
Alongside running a safe, successful branch, you’ll take the lead on:
Delivering and developing Pharmacy First Plus
Identifying opportunities to expand our private services
Building awareness and demand within the local community
Creating an outstanding experience that keeps patients coming back
Developing confident, capable colleagues who share your standards
Making decisions and running the pharmacy as though it were your own
We’re not looking for someone to maintain the status quo.
We’re looking for someone with the clinical confidence, commercial awareness and genuine enthusiasm to build something exceptional.
You’ll be joining a pharmacy that is already valued by its community, with an experienced team and real potential for service-led growth.
You’ll also become part of Right Medicine Pharmacy—one of Scotland’s fastest-growing independent pharmacy groups, with 44 pharmacies and more than 350 brilliant people.
We’re big enough to provide meaningful investment, support and career opportunities, but still independent enough to listen, move quickly and know our people by name.
No late nights. No weekends. A protected lunch break. A proper rhythm to your working week.
£66,000 salary
Monday-to-Friday working
A protected, uninterrupted one-hour lunch break
GPhC fees covered
Genuine autonomy to lead your branch
Support to grow Pharmacy First Plus and private services
Ongoing professional development
Real career progression within a growing independent group
The opportunity to make a visible difference to your pharmacy and its community
You are:
A GPhC-registered pharmacist
A qualified Independent Prescriber who is ready to use the qualification
Passionate about Pharmacy First Plus and the future of community pharmacy
Excited by the opportunity to develop patient-focused private services
A confident leader who sets the standard for the team
Commercially aware without ever losing sight of patient care
Comfortable taking ownership and making things happen
Motivated by progress, not simply maintaining what already exists
Most importantly, you want your work to matter.
You want to finish the week knowing you have improved services, supported your team and helped patients access care they might otherwise have struggled to find.
Apply using the Apply Now button or email Richard at [email protected] for an informal conversation.
No drawn-out process. No awkward pressure. Just an honest discussion about the pharmacy, your ambitions and whether this could be the right next step.
Your prescribing qualification can do more. Here, it will.
