Overview
We are looking for a proactive and friendly Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team at Overstone Park. In this role, you won't just be behind a bar; you’ll be the face of our hospitality, ensuring our members and guests have an exceptional experience whether they are stopping in for gym session, post-round drink or a quick bite to eat.
Key Responsibilities
- Front of House: Greeting guests, taking accurate food and drink orders, and providing table service with a smile.
- Bar Operations: Preparing and serving a variety of beverages and maintaining a clean, organized bar environment.
- Food Preparation: Prepping light meals and snacks. You will be trained to use our high-speed ovens and other kitchen equipment to ensure consistent quality.
- Hygiene & Maintenance: Routine cleaning of the bar and restaurant areas to meet our high standards of presentation and safety.
- Teamwork: Supporting colleagues during busy periods to ensure smooth service across the clubhouse.
What We’re Looking For
- Versatility: Someone comfortable moving between the bar, the floor, and the kitchen prep area.
- Availability: Must be able to work evenings and weekends (our busiest and most vibrant times!).
- Communication: A polite, professional manner with guests and teammates.
- Reliability: A "can-do" attitude and the ability to work effectively on a zero-hour basis.
- Experience: Previous hospitality or basic cooking experience is a plus, but full on-site training will be provided for the right candidate.
