We are seeking a professional and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our busy NHS/Private Dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive team environment, contributing to patient care and practice efficiency. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with prior Dental and Receptionist experience. Who are organised, personable, and eager to assist patients with their dental needs.

Tuesday 9.00-17.30
Wednesday 9.00-17.30
Thursday 9.00-17.30
Friday 9.00-17.00
Lunch hour 13.00-14.00

Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and ensure a welcoming environment
- Manage patient appointment bookings, Maximise appointment utilisation and efficiently manage clinical schedules.
- Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and direct calls professionally and efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the practice management system
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing payments
- Assist with the preparation of patient documentation and consent forms
- Supporting dental staff to ensure smooth workflow throughout the day
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy and professional at all times
- Promote patient feedback and online reviews
Requirements
- Previous Dental Receptionist experience required
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritise
- A proactive team player who shows initiative and takes ownership of their work
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional attitude
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment
- Ideally proficient in using Exact (SOE)
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
