Duties
- Main duties would typically include:
- Answering telephone calls and dealing with customer enquiries.
- Taking and processing orders for double- and triple-glazed units.
- Entering customer orders accurately onto the company system.
- Preparing quotations and pricing for customers.
- Liaising with customers regarding measurements, specifications, delivery dates and requirements.
- Communicating with the factory/production team to ensure orders are manufactured correctly and on time.
- Arranging and coordinating deliveries.
- Preparing delivery paperwork and invoices.
- Processing purchase orders and dealing with suppliers.
- Responding to emails and general customer correspondence.
- Maintaining accurate customer and order records.
- Dealing with queries relating to orders, deliveries, pricing and products.
- Checking measurements and glass specifications before orders go into production.
- Providing general administrative support to management and the wider office.
- Maintaining a good level of customer service and building relationships with trade customers.
- Working closely with production, transport and accounts departments.
Experience
- Good telephone and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when entering glass measurements and specifications.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Computer literacy, including email and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage multiple orders.
- Customer-service experience.
- Experience within glazing, windows, construction or manufacturing would be advantageous.

Pay: £25,420.00-£39,134.28 per year
