Responsibilities
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity across the premises and identify potential security threats.
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to prevent unauthorized entry.
- Perform routine patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, parking areas, and sensitive zones to deter theft and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activity by investigating incidents and coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing behaviors that may indicate theft or vandalism and taking appropriate action.
- Provide first aid assistance in case of medical emergencies until professional help arrives.
- Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance documentation accurately and promptly.
Experience
- Prior experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and emergency response procedures enhances effectiveness in this role.
- Certification in first aid or CPR is a plus but not required; training will be available for those interested.
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail are essential for identifying potential risks or breaches.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while responding swiftly to incidents is critical for success in this position.
Pay: £3,000.00-£4,000.00 per month
