About the Role
Richmond Scientific is looking for a friendly, organised, and proactive Customer Contact Administrator to join our team on a 3-month term, with the possibility to extend for the right candidate.
This role focuses on maintaining regular contact with our existing customers, building positive relationships, and supporting our sales process through timely email communication and quote follow-up.
The ideal candidate will have confidence communicating with customers via written communication and telephone, have excellent attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain regular email contact with existing customers.
- Follow up on quotations to check progress and gather customer feedback.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Keep accurate records of customer communications and updates, and maintain the in-house CRM.
- Liaise with the sales team regarding customer enquiries and quote status.
- Ensure customer information is up to date within company systems.
- Provide general administrative support to the sales and customer service teams as required.
Skills and Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise tasks.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach.
- Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, or administrative role is desirable but not essential.
