The postholder will be qualified as an Associate Nurse Practitioner and therefore be registered with the NMC. They will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or other Registered Practitioner to implement and provide high quality, individualised care for patients.
The role will work across all aspects of primary care. The role will operate to deliver agreed care to patients and vulnerable people as directed by the team and will include completing physical health observations, therapeutic interventions, administering medications, completing clinics which will include phlebotomy clinics, ECG clinics and NHS health check clinic, well-woman, first and second reception screening and assisting in long term condition clinics.
The post holder will be fully involved in patient care and will be expected to work as part of the emergency response team as required.
