Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Temporary Part-Time Cleaner to join our team for a 4-month contract. This role involves supporting the upkeep of communal areas within student accommodation.
The position offers flexible working hours, making it ideal for someone looking for part-time work that can fit around other commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain communal areas within student accommodation, including lounges, corridors, stairwells, and shared facilities.
- Carry out deep cleaning tasks to a high standard.
- Operate cleaning equipment and machinery, including steam cleaners and other specialist cleaning tools.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with training and health and safety procedures.
- Restock cleaning supplies and consumables as required.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns to management.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional working environment at all times.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to take initiative.
- Comfortable carrying out deep cleaning duties and using cleaning equipment.
The position offers flexible working hours of 8–10 hours per week, ideally split across two days each week, making it ideal for someone looking for part-time work that can fit around other commitments.
Pay: £13.50 per hour
