About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented eCommerce Administrator to support the day-to-day management of our online product listings across multiple eCommerce platforms and marketplaces.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, updating and maintaining accurate product listings, ensuring product information, imagery, pricing and stock information are kept up to date. You will work closely with the eCommerce, buying, marketing and operations teams to ensure our products are presented accurately and consistently across all online channels.
Key Responsibilities
· Create, upload and maintain product listings across multiple eCommerce platforms and marketplaces.
· Update product titles, descriptions, specifications, pricing, stock information and other product attributes.
· Ensure product listings are accurate, complete, consistent and optimised for online customers and search.
· Upload and manage product images, videos and other digital content.
· Monitor listings regularly and identify missing, incorrect or outdated information.
· Coordinate new product launches and ensure listings are live and accurate by agreed deadlines.
· Make ongoing amendments to listings based on product changes, promotions, pricing updates or business requirements.
· Manage product categorisation, attributes, variants, SKUs and other catalogue information.
· Support promotional activity by updating prices, offers, banners and product content where required.
· Liaise with internal teams to obtain accurate product information and resolve data discrepancies.
· Monitor marketplace requirements and ensure listings comply with platform guidelines.
· Identify and resolve listing errors, rejected products, inactive listings and other catalogue issues.
· Assist with maintaining product data across multiple systems, feeds and spreadsheets.
· Carry out regular quality checks and audits of the online product catalogue.
· Support the eCommerce team with general administrative tasks.
Platforms Skills & Experience
Essential:
· Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
· Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
· Confident using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
· Good written communication skills.
· Comfortable working with large volumes of product data.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
· A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
· Good general IT skills and confidence learning new systems and platforms.
Desirable (But not essential as training given):
· Previous experience in an eCommerce, marketplace or online retail environment.
· Experience managing product listings or product information/catalogues.
· Experience with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, eBay or other marketplaces.
· Basic understanding of online merchandising and conversion optimisation.
