Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Fuel Station Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while managing fuel sales and convenience store operations. This role requires effective communication skills, strong time management, and the ability to upsell products to enhance customer experience.
No experience is required as full training will be provided, must be 18+ looking to start ASAP.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their fuel purchases and convenience store needs.
- Operate the fuel pumps and ensure that all transactions are processed accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the station, including the forecourt and store areas.
- Upsell additional products such as snacks, drinks, and car accessories to enhance sales.
- Handle cash transactions, ensuring accurate change is given and maintaining a balanced till.
- Answer customer inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when necessary.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in restocking shelves as needed.
- Report any issues or maintenance needs to management promptly.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential.
- Organisational skills to maintain a tidy work environment and manage stock effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
