One of Edinburgh's most celebrated restaurants, The Witchery is set within a collection of historic buildings dating back to 1595 at the gates of Edinburgh Castle and is seeking a Bartender to join our exceptional team.
Established in 1979 by James Thomson, The Witchery sits at the historic heart of Edinburgh's Old Town. Steeped in centuries of rich Scottish history, it is renowned for its opulent setting, award-winning dining, and unforgettable guest experience.
Our Package Includes:
- The on-target earning potential for this role is £43,915 per annum, comprising a base salry of £13.00 per hour (based on a 40 hour week; £27, 040 per annum), plus a substantial share of staff gratuities estimated at £16,875 per annum (paid weekly)
- 40 hours per week, working 5 days from 7
- 28 days holiday, rising to 32 after 5 years' service

Previous wine service experience is preferred; however we will provide extensive training and will help you to develop your skills in a nurturing environment. An ability to work under pressure and a good level of spoken English are also required
Candidates should have Scotland Licensing & Social Responsibility Training or candidates will be required to complete Scotland Licensing & Social Responsibility Training during probationary period.
