What You Will Be Doing: (Duties & Responsibilities)
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and staff in a professional manner
- Answer and route incoming phone calls; take and relay messages
- Manage meeting room bookings and appointment scheduling
- Handle incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and couriers
- Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean, presentable, and well-stocked
- Provide basic administrative support, including filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Liaise with facilities, HR, or other departments for operational needs
- Assist with visitor access, sign-in systems, and security protocols
Essential skills and experience:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional and friendly telephone manner
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office systems
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Attention to detail and reliability
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, or administrative role
- Familiarity with switchboard systems or booking software
- Experience in a corporate, healthcare, or hospitality environment
