Are you passionate about great food and delivering excellent customer service? We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented individual to join our team to work on the service counter or the shop floor and tills.
Position: Counter Assistant
Location:Rosendale Road, London. SE21 8EZ
Hours: 35-38 per week over 5 from 6 days (Closed on Monday)
What You'll Do:
- Provide friendly, efficient service to customers, helping them select deli meats, cheeses, and other products.
- Slice, prepare, and package products with care and attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work as part of a collaborative team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Ensure customers have a positive experience with product knowledge and recommendations.
- Replenish stock in the shop area and handle card and cash transactions at the checkout.
What We’re Looking For:
- A passion for food and a desire to learn more about deli products.
- Previous experience in food service or customer-facing roles preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service
