I am seeking to employ a Personal Assistant/Support Worker to work one to one with a young gentleman who has learning disabilities, reduced mobility and health conditions. Hours are over 3/4 days a week 8am - 5/7pm. 5 hrs are flexible.
Essential requirements include previous experience, excellent references, and a desire to accommodate individual needs and choices with the highest degree of respect. The successful applicant will be expected to complete an enhanced DBS and provide evidence of 'right to work' in the UK.
Skill requirements include the understanding and use of Makaton Sign Language, an interest in craft, creative activities, zoom, cooking and gardening. Personal care and an understanding of specific health conditions are fundamental.
Transport will not be required.
