Prestwick Aerosystems continues Ayrshire's longstanding aircraft manufacturing heritage. From our Prestwick site, we manufacture major wing structures used on Airbus programmes worldwide.
As our business continues to evolve, effective project delivery plays a critical role in supporting operational improvement, customer requirements and strategic change. We're looking for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex projects that shape the future of our business.

his is a high-impact role where you will manage a portfolio of major change initiatives, working across multiple functions to ensure projects are delivered safely, effectively and in line with business objectives. You'll work closely with stakeholders at all levels, balancing competing priorities while maintaining focus on cost, schedule and performance.
Working alongside operational leaders, programme teams, customers and subject matter experts, you will provide the structure, control and leadership needed to deliver successful outcomes across a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment.
You will:
- Lead the planning and delivery of major change projects, ensuring scope, objectives, milestones and deliverables are clearly defined and controlled.
- Develop and maintain project plans, governance, reporting and business documentation in line with organisational and customer requirements.
- Manage project risks, opportunities and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation plans to support successful project delivery.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, customers and cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered to agreed cost, schedule and performance targets.
You will bring:
- Experience delivering complex projects within a manufacturing, engineering, aerospace or other operational environment.
- Experience applying recognised project management methodologies, tools and governance frameworks across the full project lifecycle.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage colleagues, customers, suppliers and senior leaders.
- A recognised project management qualification, such as APMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent, or a commitment to achieving professional project management accreditation.
- 37-hour week (half-day Friday)
