About the Role:
We are seeking flexible and enthusiastic Team Members to support the day-to-day operation of our petrol station and food service areas within the same store.
Successful candidates will work on a rotational basis across both the Greggs Hot Express and the petrol station, providing excellent customer service and helping to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
Shift :
This role operates on a rotating shift pattern, with team members scheduled across both morning and night shifts in line with operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service across both the petrol station and hot food areas.
- Operate the till and process fuel, retail, cash, and card transactions accurately.
- Replenish stock, check product dates, rotate stock, and keep shelves and displays fully stocked and tidy.
- Prepare, cook, bake, and display Greggs Hot Express products in line with company standards.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and store presentation, including regular cleaning of food preparation areas, counters, equipment, shop floor, and customer areas.
- Work flexibly across the hot food area, retail shop, till, and petrol station, supporting the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
What We’re Looking For
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience in retail/ food service is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Candidates must be aged 18 or over, as the role includes handling sales of age-restricted products.
Due to the location of the workplace and varying shift times, reliable personal transport is required.
