Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Low Care Shift Manager to lead the team across Goods In and Goods Out, making sure the shift runs safely, efficiently and accurately.
Work closely with Production and other departments to ensure goods and ingredients are received, stored, picked and dispatched on time, while creating a positive team environment built on our values of Trust, Care and Respect.
Responsibilities
- Lead and organise the Low Care team throughout the shift.
- Manage Goods In and Goods Out, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate stock levels, locations and rotation across chilled and frozen storage.
- Ensure Production has the ingredients and materials it needs on time.
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, food safety, hygiene and quality.
- Plan staffing and workloads to meet daily requirements.
- Monitor shift performance and resolve issues as they arise.
- Support, coach and develop team members, dealing with day-to-day people matters where needed.
- Communicate clearly with other shifts and departments.
- Look for practical ways to improve efficiency, accuracy and reduce waste.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing operations with a strong understanding of processes and systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive culture
- Strong communication skills to coordinate across departments, including supply chain management and maintenance teams
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining focus on operational excellence.
