We are seeking a reliable Self Employed Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering parcels efficiently across designated routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This role offers flexibility for self-employment, allowing you to manage your own schedule while maintaining high standards of customer service. A valid driver’s licence and experience in commercial driving are essential, along with strong communication skills and physical stamina for handling deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Conduct multiple deliveries across various locations within specified timeframes.
- Load and unload parcels, ensuring items are handled with care during transit.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS or route planning tools to optimise delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries completed and any discrepancies encountered.
- Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to during driving and parcel handling.
- Perform basic vehicle checks before and after shifts to confirm roadworthiness.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience of multi-drop deliveries (Yodel, DPD, Royal Mail, DHL, UK Mail, Hermes) is desirable
- Positive ‘Can-Do’ attitude, hard-working, self-motivated and customer experience obsessed and have a Full UK/EU Licence
- Driving Licence held for over 2 years – MAX 6 Points. No DR/DD endorsements
- Must be able to pass a Basic DBS background check
- Able to lift and deliver packages (up to 23 kgs)
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Flexible to daily service demands
- Able to work 9-hour shifts and flexible to work any day throughout the week including and especially weekends
- Smartphone preferred for the delivery app
Pay: From £150.00 per day
