Job Title: Serviced Accommodation Manager
Pay: £30,000–£35,000 per year, dependent on experience, plus performance bonus Job Type: Full-time, permanent Location: Newport / South Wales
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Serviced Accommodation Manager to take full ownership of our serviced accommodation portfolio, currently 8 properties with plans to expand. We want someone who can hit the ground running — a "plug and play" hire who already understands the serviced accommodation/short-let world and can bring proven systems and standards from day one, rather than learning on the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full day-to-day ownership of the serviced accommodation portfolio: bookings, guest communications, pricing, and property standards
- Manage cleaning, turnover, and maintenance coordination for all properties, working with the maintenance team and cleaner
- Optimise occupancy and pricing across platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, direct bookings, etc.)
- Handle guest issues and complaints professionally and swiftly
- Onboard new properties into the portfolio as the business expands
- Maintain compliance, insurance, and safety standards across all properties
- Report regularly to the Managing Director / Operations Manager on performance, occupancy, and portfolio growth opportunities
- Build and manage relationships with contractors, cleaners, and suppliers supporting the SA portfolio
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience managing a serviced accommodation, short-let, or similar hospitality portfolio
- Strong understanding of booking platforms, pricing strategy, and guest experience management
- Track record of maintaining high property standards across multiple sites
- Comfortable managing cleaners, contractors, and suppliers
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple properties and priorities simultaneously
- Full UK driving licence (travel between properties required)
