Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Control Room Operative to oversee and monitor our camera system within our recycling facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for watching several monitors maintaining a secure environment through surveillance
Duties
- Monitor surveillance cameras watching recycled products through the plant
- Maintain accurate records of down time and observations.
- Respond promptly to blockages using walki talkies to staff in the plant.
- Using a SCADA system full training given.
- Ensure the control room environment remains organised, clean, and secure at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in surveillance or security operations is preferred.
- Strong report writing skills with the ability to document incidents clearly and accurately.
- Excellent observational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond swiftly to emergencies.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
