We’re looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Driver with waste industry experience to join our busy team.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient collection, transportation and delivery of waste and recycling materials, while providing a professional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving HGV vehicles safely and in accordance with road transport legislation
- Collecting and transporting waste/recycling materials
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Ensuring loads are safe and secure
- Completing relevant paperwork and documentation
- Following site, environmental and health & safety procedures
- Maintaining a professional and helpful approach with customers
What We’re Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence – Class 1 also welcomed
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous waste, recycling, skip, hook-loader or similar industry experience
- Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time regulations
- Strong awareness of health & safety
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable working independently
- Good communication skills

Salary: £15.00 per hour , Subsistence & Night-Out
