We are seeking a motivated, adaptable, and patient-focused Band 4 Dental Nurse to join our hospital dental team in a full-time, permanent position.
This exciting opportunity is for a “Float Dental Nurse”, working flexibly across a wide range of dental specialties. You will play a vital role in supporting clinical teams wherever service demand is highest, ensuring high-quality patient care is consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality chairside support to clinicians across multiple dental specialties
- Work flexibly across departments including (but not limited to): Oral Surgery, Restorative Dentistry, Orthodontics, Paediatric Dentistry, and Special Care Dentistry
- Maintain a high standard of infection prevention and control in accordance with TRUST POLICIES
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of clinical environments and equipment
- Deliver excellent patient care, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety at all times
- Support clinical teams in managing patient flow efficiently
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with Trust standards

About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- A fully qualified and GDC-registered Dental Nurse
- Experienced in a hospital or multi-specialty dental setting (desirable)
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to work across different teams and environments
- A strong communicator with excellent organisational skills
- Committed to delivering high standards of patient care
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
