Job Overview
We are looking for a Semi Senior Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career, with exposure to a wide range of clients and responsibilities.
You will gain hands-on experience across statutory limited company accounts, tax, and advisory.
Duties
- Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies
- Preparation of management accounts
- VAT returns (including complex cases)
- Assisting with corporation tax and personal tax returns
- Liaising directly with clients and handling queries
- Use of book-keeping software (e.g. Sage, Xero, Zoho, QuickBooks)
- Liasing with HMRC
Experience
- AAT qualified or ACCA/ACA part-qualified
- Minimum Recent 3–5 years’ experience in an accountancy practice in the UK
- Strong understanding of accounts, VAT, personal tax & corporation tax
- Comfortable dealing with clients
- Ambitious, proactive, and keen to progress
- Proficiency in book-keeping software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero and other relevant platforms
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy

Pay: £24,913.01-£36,000.00 per year
