Fire & Security Engineer (Install)

£30,000 – £40,000 Basic + Overtime + Call Out
A well-established fire and security company operating for over a decade is looking to add an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to its growing team. The business has built a strong reputation across the Central Belt for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions and prides itself on maintaining a supportive, family-oriented culture where engineers are trusted, valued and given flexibility in their work.
With around 20 engineers and a wider team of approximately 35–40 staff, the company offers the stability of an established business while maintaining a relaxed and collaborative working environment.
The Role
The company is open to engineers with either installation or service experience across fire and security systems. Engineers who are stronger in one discipline are encouraged to apply, as the business places a strong focus on training and developing engineers into fully multi-skilled professionals over time.
The majority of work is carried out across the Central Belt, with around 90% of projects located within the region and typically within an hour’s travel from home. Only a small portion of work requires travelling further afield.
Projects are primarily within commercial and high-end residential environments, with common systems including Hikvision CCTV and Pyronix intruder alarms. Access control forms a smaller part of the workload.
Working Hours
Standard working hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Package
Basic salary between £30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
Company van provided (larger vans for install engineers, smaller vans for service engineers)
Van available for reasonable personal use
Overtime available but never pressured
20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (28 total)
Company closed between Christmas and New Year
