Summary
We are seeking a diligent Domestic Cleaner to join our team in Holywell. This role is vital in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within our childcare facility, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children and staff. The successful candidate will contribute to our mission of providing a welcoming and sanitary space for all.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties throughout the nursery, including disinfecting play areas, and bathrooms.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all communal spaces.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and efficiently.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and contamination.
- Manage waste disposal responsibly.
- Support the overall hygiene standards to promote a healthy environment for children.
- Collaborate with staff to address specific cleaning needs as they arise.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Previous experience working in a childcare or similar environment is advantageous.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Basic understanding of hygiene standards relevant to childcare settings.
