Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing personalised support to a female client, fostering their development and wellbeing. Duties
- Deliver personalised support programmes tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and confidence
- Assist female client with daily activities, including personal care, social interaction, and accessing the community for days out etc..
- Mentor our female client through one-to-one interactions, offering guidance and encouragement
- Collaborate with families, and other professionals to ensure consistent support strategies are implemented
- Document progress and report any concerns or significant developments to senior staff
- Assist in organising activities that promote learning, socialisation, and personal growth
Experience
- Previous experience working with a learning disability client is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for successful candidates
- A caring attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly within a team-oriented environment
- Passion for supporting young people's development and wellbeing
