Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic warehouse assistant to join our friendly team at one of the UK’s largest suppliers to the woodburning stove and candle-making industries, and work with us picking and packing customer orders.
We are looking for staff who can demonstrate a genuine desire to provide our customers with a consistently efficient and accurate service as an order picker whilst undertaking the tasks of loading and unloading goods, identifying products and accurately picking and despatching orders of all sizes.
Responsibilities
Picking products, following location codes.
Double-checking all items for accuracy before packing.
Safely packing customer orders of all sizes.
Correctly despatching orders using internal and courier computer-based systems.
Ensuring the warehouse environment is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Person Specification
Ideally have experience of working in a warehouse.
Must be reliable and punctual, hardworking and enthusiastic.
Keen eye for detail and accuracy in everything undertaken.
Willing to work the hours required during our busy winter season.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm with a 30 minute lunch break.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £26,624 p/a paid monthly
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week but be flexible during the bust season.
