Job Summary
Class One Tramper wanted for ongoing work on containers , Monday to Friday Container Tramping. Going all over the UK and starting from Felixstowe
£21.0 per hour LTD + £25 night out - LTD Accepted . All container work doing long hours
Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 1 lorries safely and efficiently over long distances, adhering to all legal and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-journey checks on vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
- Secure container trailers correctly to prevent movement during transit.
- Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules while complying with tachograph regulations.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery notes and vehicle logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery progress or any issues encountered en route.
- Maintain a professional attitude and uphold company standards during all aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence (LGV C+E entitlement).
- Delivery driver experience is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of UK road regulations and tachograph rules.
- Ability to operate containers operations safely and securely.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently.
- Excellent driving record with no serious endorsements or points.
- Flexibility to undertake long-distance trips and overnight stays as required. This role is ideal for experienced drivers seeking a dedicated position within a reputable logistics company, offering stability and the chance to develop further within the industry.
