SEASONAL - FLT Driver - Immediate Start!!
End Date: 24th December 2026
Days: Monday to Friday (weekends maybe required)
Hours - Full Time 08.00 - 18.00
Note: Certificates must be provided
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a FLT Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for materials handling, stock picking, goods in/out, stock checks along with other warehouse duties to ensure an efficient FLT & Warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out daily forklift checks
- Operating forklifts as authorised & required.
- Unloading delivery vehicles and following the goods inwards systems
- Picking component stock to complete stock request emails
- Loading 3rd party vehicles with collections/despatch and loads out.
- Carrying out checks on ‘incoming delivery vehicles’ and ‘outgoing delivery vehicles’ and completing the relevant BRC paperwork.
- General stock taking as and when required.
- Covering despatch as required
- Labelling, picking and loading during the Christmas despatch period.
- Preparation of premises for next day’s work.
- Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Requirements:
- FLT counterbalance licence - essential (certificate must be provided)
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment - essential
- FLT Reach - desirable
- Ability to drive and work at other Company Sites
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus
