WORKING HOURS
8am - 12 noon Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.
Join our dynamic poultry farm team as a Poultry Farm Egg Collector! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently collecting eggs from poultry houses, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and animal care. Your energetic approach will help maintain smooth farm operations, support animal well-being, and contribute to the overall productivity of the farm. Duties
- Collect eggs from packing area using a machine
- Handle eggs carefully to minimize breakage and maintain quality standards
- Walk poultry houses to lift small amount of floor eggs
- Support animal care activities such as feeding, watering, and monitoring bird health
- Maintain accurate records of egg collection times, quantities, and any irregularities
- Help with general farm upkeep including cleaning store to leave a clean working environment
Skills
- Ability to use egg packing machine
- Strong work ethic to keep everything clean and tidy
- Be reliable punctual and take a keen interest in your job
- Animal care experience or an interest in poultry
- Familiarity with equipment repair, maintenance routines, and general farm operation full training will be provided to suitable person
