Duties
- Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including preparing the treatment room and sterilising equipment
- Providing excellent patient care by offering reassurance and explaining procedures clearly
- Ensuring the comfort and safety of patients throughout their visit
- Managing patient records accurately using IT systems and maintaining confidentiality
- Preparing instruments and materials needed for treatments
- Supporting infection control protocols and maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the practice
- Handling administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and updating patient information
- Communicating effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is desirable
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Basic nursing skills or relevant training in dental nursing is preferred
- Strong IT skills for managing patient records and administrative tasks
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with patients and team members
- Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
