Duties
- Safely operate vehicles to deliver food to customers' premises.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items safe properly during transit.
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers upon completion of each delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations during operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver
- Valid driving licence; a clean driving record is essential.
- Experience with delivery routes and navigation tools such as GPS devices or mapping software.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including loading and unloading goods safely.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude at all times.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required, with a focus on punctuality and reliability.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to commercial driving and transportation.

Pay: £97.68-£220.00 per day
