The role
Job Title: Class 1 Driver
Location: Wolverhampton
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday
From 16:00 - Various Starts
Paid monthly.
Main Purpose:
We require a customer focused driver responsible for internal trunking between depots. Candidates will be contracted to work Monday - Friday with a guaranteed 208 hours per month. Unloading and loading is not expected of our Class 1 drivers as we have a dedicated team to carry these duties out.
Key Responsibilities
Internal trunking, bathrooms and appliances.
Providing a professional service at all times
Manually handling heavy materials in a correct and safe manner
Performing collection and deliveries on time and in full
Ensuring product is transported safely and not subjected to transit damage
Maintaining legal drivers hours and WTD at all times.
Ensuring vehicle is safe and clean at all times.
Essential Skills and Experience
UK Photocard licence – C + E with no more than 6 points on licence
Driver Qualification card
Valid Digi Tacho card
Good understanding of EU Driving Rules, GB domestic rules & WTD regulations
Highly motivated with the desire to make a difference
Good attention to detail
Smart appearance and presentable
Desirable Skills and Experience
Minimum 6 months C+E driving experience
Good Geographical knowledge
