We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Self Employed Electrician’s Mate with Solar PV experience to join our growing team, carrying out domestic renewable installations across the North East.
You’ll work alongside qualified electricians installing Solar PV, Battery Storage Systems and associated electrical equipment, with ongoing training and the opportunity to develop your skills further within the renewable energy industry.

- Predominantly domestic Solar PV and Battery Storage installations across the North East

About you

Qualifications
Ideally, you will have completed or be working towards:
- Level 2 and/or Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification, such as City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent
- Electrical installation NVQ
Experience & skills
Previous Solar PV installation experience is highly desirable.
Experience in some of the following would be particularly beneficial:
- Solar PV panel installation and mounting
- Running and securing DC and AC cabling
- Installing PVC conduit and trunking
- Inverter and battery mounting/installation
- General domestic electrical installation work
- Working safely at height and on domestic sites
- Following site-specific health & safety procedures
Around 2 years' experience within electrical installation or renewable energy would be preferred, although we’re more interested in finding someone reliable, capable and keen to develop.
