The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operative to join a busy food production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual with previous experience operating Multihead Weighers and Tray Sealing Machines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production lines run efficiently, maintaining product quality standards, and supporting production targets within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor Multihead Weighing Machines.
- Operate and monitor Tray Sealing Machines.
- Carry out machine set-ups, adjustments and changeovers.
- Ensure products are weighed and packaged accurately.
- Perform quality checks throughout the production process.
- Identify and report machine faults or production issues.
- Minimise downtime and product wastage.
- Complete production paperwork and record keeping.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and housekeeping.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience operating Multihead Weighers.
- Previous experience operating Tray Sealing Machines.
- Experience within a food production or manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of production processes and quality standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable and flexible approach to work.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and weekends.
