Project Support Worker - Sexual Violence Service (ISVA Service)
Salary: £24,256.25 pro-rota
(£17,325.89 per annum for 25hrs)

We are looking for highly motivated individual to join our accredited sexual violence team providing a pro-active response and emotional support to victims of rape and sexual assault
This is a part-time post working 25 hours per week Monday to Friday
In return we offer a competitive salary of £24,256.25 (pro rata) and 3% pension following a successful probationary period. The Occupational Requirement (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1) applies to this post. This role is subject to an enhanced DBS Check
Main Purposes
1. Processing of new referrals into the ISVA/CHISVA service
2. Undertake initial contacts, risk and needs assessments & liaison with referring agencies
3. To undertake regular welfare calls and provide emotional support for clients waiting for allocation to an ISVA or therapeutic recovery support.
4. Through regular telephone support provide clients with high-level emotional support through attending, observing, listening and responding empathetically to clients
5. Focus on promoting and relieving victim’s emotional wellbeing.
6. To listen and assess each caller, ensuring that an appropriate and effective support and assistance is provided and is of highest standard
7. To work within a multi-agency setting to ensure all agencies carry out their responsibilities to keep people safe.
8. To ensure accurate record-keeping and collection of data for monitoring purposes, completion of monitoring reports and to provide statistical information for evaluation purposes as required
9. To ensure standards are maintained for the purposes of ISVA accreditation alongside providing quality service to the service-users.
10. To ensure that work undertaken is in line with to best practice guidelines and work in accordance to the Freeva’s policies and procedures.
Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2028 which may be extended subject to available funding.
