We are looking for an experienced Workshop Foreman with a strong Plant background to lead and oversee the day-to-day operation of a busy workshop in North Canes.

About You:
- Previous experience managing or supervising a Plant Workshop
- Strong background working with heavy plant or associated equipment
- Experience with refurbishment and assembly
- Strong servicing and maintenance knowledge
- Previous experience leading a team of workshop engineers or fitters
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Able to prioritise workloads and ensure jobs are completed efficiently
- Strong attention to health and safety and workshop standards
The Job:
- Take day-to-day responsibility for the workshop
- Lead, manage and support the workshop team
- Plan and allocate workloads across the team
- Oversee the refurbishment, assembly, servicing and maintenance of Plant equipment
- Diagnose and resolve technical and mechanical issues where required
- Ensure all equipment is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
- Monitor workshop productivity and job progress
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with company procedures and health and safety requirements
- Liaise with management to provide updates on workshop performance and outstanding work
