AG Hotels Group is seeking a talented and dynamic Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team at IBIS Wakefield East, Castleford Hotel Ibis Castleford. Responsibilities:
· Prepare and cook a wide range of breakfast dishes to the highest standards, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation exceed guest expectations.
· Develop and maintain an innovative breakfast menu to create a memorable dining experience.
· Collaborate with the Head Chef and other team members to ensure menu consistency and smooth operation of the breakfast service.
· Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the breakfast kitchen.
· Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
· Manage inventory, control costs, and ensure proper stock rotation to minimize waste
· Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to maintain a high level of performance and professionalism.
· Contribute to diversify the menu for special events, promotions, and group bookings.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar role, preferably within a hotel or high-end dining establishment.
· Good knowledge of breakfast cuisine, food preparation techniques, and cooking methods.
· Ability to create visually appealing and delicious breakfast dishes with an emphasis on quality
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Should be able to collaborate effectively with the team.
· High standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
· Food Safety Level 2 certification is preferred
